Ceremonial opening of H2APEX hydrogen refueling station for buses in Güstrow Germany
Resato Hydrogen Technology proudly announces the inauguration of H2APEX’s hydrogen refueling station for buses in Güstrow, Germany.
Specifically designed for H2APEX to quickly and efficiently supply hydrogen to buses operated by the regional public transport company, Regionalbus Rostock (Rebus), this state-of-the-art station will support one of Europe’s largest hydrogen bus fleets, consisting of 52 vehicles. Featuring the latest advancements in hydrogen refueling technology, the station ensures fast, safe, and reliable refueling operations.
This innovative project for our client H2APEX highlights the significant potential of hydrogen as a sustainable fuel for the future.
Equipped with 350-bar fast-fill functionality and utilizing Resato’s high-pressure compression technology, the station is designed with modularity in mind, allowing for easy future expansion to meet evolving market demands. Built to comply with the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), this station plays an important role in advancing Europe’s hydrogen infrastructure and accelerating the transition to zero-emission public transport.
Martijn Kruisweg, COO of Resato Hydrogen Technology, states: "The opening of this hydrogen refueling station for buses in Güstrow is a milestone in our partnership with H2APEX. It underlines our joint commitment to building innovative infrastructure that enables the large-scale transition to hydrogen as a sustainable alternative fuel. We are proud of the contribution we have made to this project and look forward to further collaborations in the future."
Peter Rößner, CEO of H2APEX-Group adds: “We are proud to support Rebus in this green flagship project in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. We particularly value that our long-term, close collaboration and intensive work since 2019 is now bearing fruit, and that together with our reliable partner Rebus, we have been able to implement a nationwide flagship project.
