Grant applications for hydrogen refueling stations (SWIM Scheme H2) reopened from April 1st

If your organization wants to invest in hydrogen refueling stations, the SWIM Scheme H2 is an excellent opportunity to receive financial support.  

From Tuesday, April 1, 2025 09:00 a.m. to Wednesday, May 7, 2025 17:00 p.m., companies and organizations can again apply for funding under the SWIM (Incentive Hydrogen Infrastructure and Mobility) Scheme H2.  This scheme, created by the Dutch government, provides financial support for initiatives that contribute to the development of hydrogen mobility infrastructure.   

How much subsidy will you receive?  

  • The maximum subsidy you can receive is €7 million  
  • If you invest in the construction, expansion or improvement of a hydrogen fueling station for heavy road transport, you will receive a maximum of 40% of the costs eligible for subsidy. A maximum of € 2 million applies per application. (Source RVO.nl)

How can you apply for this subsidy?  

The application for the SWIM scheme can be submitted online via the website of the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) Subsidieregeling Waterstof in mobiliteit (SWIM) | RVO.nl
