First green hydrogen refueling station in Groningen, Netherlands
Holthausen Energy Points took an important step in the energy transition in 2021 with the opening of the first public hydrogen refueling station in Groningen. Located at Century Autogroep's energy-neutral Campus on Bornholmstraat, this station offers a 24/7 solution for emission-free mobility. Thanks to the unique combination of producing and refueling green hydrogen, this project plays a key role in making transport in the Northern Netherlands more sustainable. Building on this success, Holthausen has recently opened a second hydrogen refueling station in Amsterdam, further expanding its contribution to zero-emission mobility across the Netherlands.
